What is Restylane®?
Restylane® is a gel facial filler that contains hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance that occurs naturally in your skin. Young skin has an abundance of HA that keeps it smooth and hydrated. As you age, you have less HA, and this may cause wrinkles. Replenishing the HA may help with moderate to severe wrinkles, and Restylane® is also used for lip enhancement in men and women who are at least 21 years old.
What is Restylane® Silk?
Restylane® Silk is an HA-based filler used for lip augmentation. The gel gives an immediate lift to the lips, adding volume and definition.
What is Restylane® Lyft?
The cheek area may develop signs of aging, such as fat loss. Restylane® Lyft contains HA to add fullness to the cheek area.
What is Restylane® Defyne?
Restylane® Defyne is an HA-based gel formulated using XpresHAn Technology™ to give men and women exceptionally natural results from their filler treatments. Restylane® Defyne is recommended for deeper wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds.
What is Restylane® Refyne?
Formulated using XpresHAn Technology™, Restylane® Refyne may help with nasolabial folds and marionette lines. The technology behind the product is intended to soften wrinkles while maintaining a natural appearance.
What are the Benefits of Restylane® Treatments?
- Minimally-invasive
- No downtime
- Long-lasting results
- Immediate lift in the wrinkles
What Should I Expect from a Restylane® Treatment?
The family of Restylane® products are injectable fillers, and several injections are needed to consistently treat the wrinkles. You may feel a slight pressure as the gel enters the skin.
Short-term symptoms after the treatment may include localized swelling, bleeding, tenderness and bruising. These symptoms typically last no longer than two to three days.
How Long Do the Results Last?
Individual results vary, but your Restylane® treatments may provide anti-aging benefits for six to nine months. Lip augmentation with Restylane® may last three to four months.
How Much Do Restylane® Treatments Cost?
After your consultation appointment with Dr. Barbour, we provide pricing based upon the individual treatment plan. Barbour Plastic Surgery offers financing options for our patients.
